We are head quartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan serving the greater west Michigan area and have a second office located in Mt. Pleasant delivering the same quality care in the greater Mid Michigan area. We consider ourselves memebers of the community and therefore manage ourselves and our business accordingly. Our staff of Care Companions are professionally trained and certified to provide quality care. The staff is comprised of Certified Nurses Assistants(CNAs), Home Health Aides(HHAs), Licensed Practical Nurses(LPNs) and Registered Nurses(RNs). We also are aligned with the area's leading occupational and physcial therapists. We consider our people our most important asset and therefore employ comprehensive hiring and training procedures and policies.
Who We Work With
We work primarily with the loved ones involved in making the decision to engage our services. We also work closely and successfully with the loved ones professional support group, which may include doctors, case workers, trustees, attorneys, long term care associations, and insurance companies. In addition, we particpate in the Michigan Medicad Waiver Program through HHS Health Options, The Area Agency on Aging and Senior's Resource. Through the Michigan Medicaid Waiver Program, eligible adults who meet income and asset criteria can recieve Medicaid-covered services like those provided by nursing homes, but can stay in their own home or another residential setting. Each participant can receive the baic services Michigan medicaid covers, and one or more of the following services unique to the waiver: homemaking services, respite services, adult day care, environmental modifications, transportation, medical supplies, and equipment not covered under the Medicaid State Plan, chore services, personal emergency response systems, private duty nursing, counseling, home delievered meals, training a variey of independent living skills, personal care, and supervision.
Our service area includes the counties of: Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, Barry, Ionia, Montcalm, Allegan, Mecosta, Osceola, Clare, Gladwin, Isabella, Midland, Bay, Saginaw, and Gratiot.
